Our BA (Hons) Business Innovation & Management top-up degree is designed to hone your business and management skills specifically for the creative industries. Equivalent to Year 3 of a BA undergraduate degree, this course enables you to 'top-up' an existing qualification such as a Foundation degree or an HND. You'll join us at level 6 with your previous knowledge and accredited learning, achieving a greater level of independence with self-managed research, study and practice. You'll develop knowledge and understanding of tactical decision making, whilst learning how to capture and create customer value at a strategic level. Ethical behaviour and corporate social responsibility now form part of the everyday consciousness of the consumer. We will present you with the concept of business ethics and develop your abilities to examine its relevance when considering business objectives and responsibilities. We will provide an overall insight into enterprise. You will investigate the factors which underpin successful entrepreneurial activities to individuals as well as small and family businesses. Your final project will allow you to develop your skillset of independent enquiry, enabling you to undertake a sustained research investigation or direct relevance to your area of interest.
