If you feel part of this movement, and find joy in making with tactile and expressive materials, then our BA (Hons) Ceramics and Glass course is for you. This course at UCA Farnham is about learning through making with the long-term goal of enabling each student to develop an appropriate and unique language of expression through ceramics and glass. With an emphasis on high-quality craftsmanship we will give you knowledge, experience, confidence and transferable skills to take into your professional career. Farnham’s craft heritage is world renowned; it the UK’s first and only location to be awarded Craft Town status. This exciting course focuses on UCA’s extensive craft experience, heritage and expertise to teach you the various ways in which you can work with ceramics and glass. Great value is placed on specialism with a deep understanding of material and process; to that end, students experience both ceramics and glass during their first year before choosing to specialise in one area for the remainder of the course.
