Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy

CMU?s philosophy program gives you a foundation in the history of philosophy while also covering more recent developments. Philosophy helps you develop marketable skills in critical thinking, creative problem solving and effective writing. It also prepares you for post graduate education, including law school. Philosophy majors work in fields such as business, higher education, law, public service, journalism and media, information technology, counseling, and health care.
