The first year provides a solid foundation in nuclear engineering, while addressing the current and future challenges of the sector. Students also study key topics such as waste management, decommissioning, and operational safety. This first year is offered in two tracks: Physics and Engineering, and Chemistry and Engineering, and includes a research laboratory internship, allowing students to put their acquired knowledge into practice.
