The Life Sciences PhD Track is a 5-year integrated Master’s/PhD program that provides highly interdisciplinary research-intensive training in the broad field of life sciences. The program is open to outstanding students from a variety of scientific backgrounds who have completed their undergraduate training with highest honors and who are interested in tackling cutting-edge research in the life sciences using a multi-disciplinary approach. The program allows students to prepare for a PhD, benefit from a multidisciplinary approach, start conducting research in a stimulating learning environment,  and benefit from a high level multidisciplinary environment. The five-year curriculum of the PhD track trains students in cutting-edge research for them to pursue international careers in prestigious universities or leading companies in the life science domain.

  • Biomedical Engineering: Biomechanics & Biophysics (BME) Track: Bachelor of Science in engineering, physical sciences, applied mathematics, or chemistry.
  • Biology and Interfaces Track: Licence/Bachelor of Science in biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, informatics.
