The Master 2 Analysis, Modeling, Simulation (AMS) offers a full range of training in these fields, ranging from the most theoretical approaches to concrete developments (numerical modeling and simulations). The implementation and development of numerical approximation methods firstly require a good knowledge of mathematical equations (differential equations, partial differential equations) but also of the phenomena they account for. Finally, the efficient implementation of the associated approximation algorithms cannot be conceived without a solid knowledge of computer science. This program allows students to: Master and implement high-level mathematical tools and methods; Understand and mathematically model a problem in order to solve it; Analyze a research document with a view to its synthesis and exploitation; Master digital tools and reference programming languages; Clearly explain a theory and mathematical results; Analyze data and implement numerical simulations.
