With the digitalization of industry, the progress of Artificial Intelligence, the advent of robots and the questions related to the control and the protection of personal data, the domain Computer science, Data & AI lies at the core of a major technological revolution of our societies. All sectors of economy and society are concerned : health, transports, energy, education, management, industry and agriculture. The PhD theses conducted within the domain Computer science, data & AI of the Doctoral School of Institut Polytechnique de Paris aim at advancing the state of the art in the whole domain, starting from the most fundamental questions of computer science, related to the efficient storage and the fast processing of massive data, up to the most complex systems, like cyber-physical systems or sets of machines able to understand their environment, to interact between them and with humans, to take decisions in an autonomous way and to explain them.
