The Master 2 Analysis, Arithmetic, Geometry (AAG) provides instruction in fundamental and specialized courses in the three fields of the title, starting with three accelerated courses in September. Most courses and teachers are renewed every two years to cover a fairly wide disciplinary field. Students build their training with a varied choice of courses. Teaching will take place at the University of Paris-Sud and at the École Polytechnique. The Master 2 is based on renowned mathematics laboratories which train excellent doctoral students in fundamental mathematics. This program allows students to preparing for a thesis in fundamental mathematics. It allows students to follow courses in various disciplines, including: number theory, algebraic geometry, Lie theory, differential geometry, geometric group theory, dynamical systems, harmonic analysis, partial differential equations, etc.
