The Master of Science in Architecture: History, Theory and Criticism is dedicated to the study of the historical, theoretical and critical production that has been generated around architecture. What is written, what is designed and what is built are intellectual products of a time, elements of information and representation that must be studied, interpreted and explained.

The purpose of the Mention is to rethink these events from our particular imperatives, introducing the student to research into the basic concepts and categories of architecture, enabling him or her to develop his or her own original theoretical proposals on a specific topic from the past or present.

Ultimately, it aims to encourage more people to be interested in nurturing ideas about Peruvian architecture, creatively studying its history, rethinking the country, the region and the world from its architectural production in order to understand ourselves as a society.
