Being a specialty with great projection and demand, the Mechatronic Engineering training constitutes an integration of disciplines that cover Mechanics, Electronics and Information Technology, both for the design and use of intelligent systems as well as for the optimization of the performance of production systems. To this end, digital control techniques based on computers and remote communication are used, applied to the conception, design and manufacture of automated mechanical systems, robots, intelligent systems, as well as to energy saving, increasing productivity and quality of the industry.
