The Master's Degree in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency is presented as a response to the growing demands for sustainable and efficient solutions in the management of energy resources, with a particular focus on the needs of rural and vulnerable environments. This Master's Degree offers professionals with training in engineering, architecture, physics and related sciences a platform to specialize in the design, implementation and optimization of energy systems that promote the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The program is designed to address energy and environmental problems specific to Peru, while exploring solutions applicable in a global context. An illustrative example of the impact and scope of this master's degree is the research project entitled "Optimization of Energy Efficiency using Renewable Energies for Rural Housing", which aims to maximize energy efficiency through the appropriate implementation of renewable energies in homes located in the high Andean regions of the country.
