The PhD in Industrial Engineering is aimed at training professionals who know how to address and solve scientific and technological problems through independent and original research work that expands the frontiers of knowledge.
The educational objective is to train researchers who know how to disseminate research results through scientific publications in the area, with a review process and with a recognized impact index, being able to develop, evaluate and/or criticize new proposals for scientific research and/or technological development in the area of industrial engineering.
Graduates must be able to: Conceive and design systemic solutions to complex problems in production systems of goods and services; lead and collaborate in work teams; create, innovate, undertake and direct their actions towards achieving objectives and results.
