The Department of Planning & Architecture at Mizoram University (MZU), established in May 2013 and recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi under the Architects Act, 1972, offers a 5-year full-time undergraduate programme in Architecture (B.Arch.). The department has an intake capacity of 30 +3 students per academic session and is part of the School of Fine Arts, Architecture & Fashion Technology, Mizoram University.
The programme equips students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in architectural design, building technology, environmental studies, history and theory of architecture, urban design, and planning. Students are trained using modern computational tools, design studios, a well-equipped computer lab, and workshop facilities.
