Dissertation Work: Students undertake two research dissertations. Dissertation I (6 credits) in the third semester focuses on Ecology, Biodiversity, Evolution, and Behavior. - Practical Training: Extensive laboratory work is integrated across all semesters, covering advanced techniques like PCR, electrophoresis, ELISA, and bioinformatics tools (MEGA, BLAST).
- Field Engagement: A significant portion of the curriculum (16 credits) is dedicated to Field Projects, Internships, or Apprenticeships in the life sciences, bridging the gap between academic theory and industry/field application.
- Ethical Standards: The program includes training in Research and Publication Ethics, covering animal ethics protocols and software tools to identify predatory publications.
