This 30-hour training program includes coursework to enhance paraprofessional mental health services provided to children in community and school settings. Although this degree program is offered through the school psychology program, the M.S. Ed. in Child Psychology degree does not lead to the professional practice of school psychology. Graduates of this program will meet Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License criteria. If a graduate holds a practice certificate through the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the graduate can also meet Autism Endorsement criteria through the selection of electives. Admitted students may start the program in any semester.
