Enrollment in the joint J.D./M.S. in Environmental Management and Sustainability program enables a student to obtain a J.D. degree from Chicago-Kent and an M.S.degree from Illinois Tech’s Stuart School of Business in approximately three-and-a-half to four years of full-time study or five to six years of part-time study. Illinois Tech’s Master of Science in Environmental Management and Sustainability prepares students to be uniquely trained management professionals who understand the complex dimensions of environmental issues today.
Eligibility and Requirements
Joint Program students may apply up to 12 credits of M.S. coursework taken at the Stuart School of Business toward the requirements for the J.D. degree. No credit may be applied toward the J.D. degree for courses completed prior to the commencement of law studies. To receive J.D. credit for a course, the student must earn at least a C grade in the course. The M.S course grades will not count in the student's J.D. grade point average. Students should work with their IIT Stuart Graduate Academic Advisor on their program of study and for information about applying certain J.D. courses toward the M.S. degree.
