Why Study Safety? Safety is a curriculum oriented to the creative and systematic application of organized knowledge, process, equipment, and techniques to make decisions which prevent or reduce human and economic loss due to accidental mishaps. They investigate accidents, conduct safety training sessions, develop written documents, determine cost benefit analysis and inventory hazardous material. Applicants must have Earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma from a recognized international institution of secondary or high school level, or will do so within one academic year of application and must have academic achievement equal to a U.S. grade point average of C or better (2.00 on a 4.00 scale) in courses that reflect proficiencies in basic skill areas. Other English Language Requirements: 550 on the pencil/paper based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or Computer-based: 213.
