The Molecular Chemistry and Interfaces (MOCHI) Master’s program is a high-level scientific and academic program offered by the Institut Polytechnique de Paris and the Université Paris Saclay. It is devoted to molecular chemistry and its applications in the fields of biology and material sciences. The program delivers state-of-the-art knowledge in academic sciences and brings students closer to applications in industry. In order to reach a better understanding, students will be given access to molecular modelling tools. The courses focus on organometallic chemistry and catalysis, supramolecular chemistry, chemobiology, and chemistry for optoelectronics. Delivered in English, the program also includes a literature and total synthesis project, as well as a 6-month research project.

Completion of the first year of a Master’s program in Chemistry at Institut Polytechnique de Paris or equivalent in France or abroad.
A good knowledge in organic, organometallic chemistry, as well as a basic knowledge in spectroscopy, eletrochemistry, photophysics, classical Newtonian mechanics and classical thermodynamics, as well as quantum chemistry is required.
