LUC The Hague offers a three year bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, a flexible programme that allows combining academic disciplines, attracting students from all over the world. The challenging and customizable curriculum offers six majors based on Global Challenges. Upon receiving their diploma from LUC, our students spread their wings to pursue prestigious master’s degrees, PhD studies or to start their professional careers. Considering the emphasis on global citizenship, it is unsurprising that many of our graduates move abroad for their next step in life. As your major strongly influences the breadth of your academic knowledge, it is impossible to pinpoint a typical LUC career. Fields vary per major and even within the major our alumni choose very divergent paths. LUC alumni are socially responsible and civically responsive leaders, qualities which make them well placed to pursue selective internships and careers. Provided with an inter-disciplinary background and a solid skillset, opportunities for our alumni are plentiful. Many of our alumni find employment in the private sector, like the jobs in banking, law firms or consultancy businesses. Others pursue careers within the non-profit sector, most notably within government agencies, international organisations or research and think tanks.
