Biological science has made great strides in recent years and the mysteries of our lives have been revealed one after another. Nevertheless, there are still unknown mysteries that we cannot even begin to imagine. Meanwhile, the findings of fundamental biology that have been revealed are directly applied to new technologies and products to enrich our lives. In other words, the current society requires more researchers who can powerfully pioneer basic research in biological science and industrialists who can apply the findings in real life.
In response to these needs, the Biological Science Division trains professionals who have both advanced research skills and broadly applicable knowledge.
Curriculum
Although research in the biological science is subdivided, there are many common and necessary experimental techniques and concepts. Graduate students learn a variety of techniques, delve deep into their expertise, and attend diverse lectures that give them the tools to navigate and become familiar with the uncharted jungle called the mystery of life.
