In the Master’s (Doctoral) Program in Management, students will research previous studies and related literature on themes in the fields of accounting, distribution and marketing, and business strategy and management, conduct market surveys, questionnaires, and other social surveys as necessary, and through the findings from detailed analysis of reference materials and data, aim to create original and advanced studies that will help improve the lives of people and contribute to the further prosperity of businesses around the world by adding insight from a global perspective.


Curriculum


In the Master’s Program, individual course guidance is provided according to each student’s research theme. Interactive guidance is given via small-group education based on Sophia University’s educational philosophy, aiming at growth in accordance with each student’s ability and individuality through interaction between faculty members and students, and through specialized knowledge. In the Doctoral Program, students focus on their dissertation under the research guidance of their supervisors, aiming to cultivate advanced research skills to bridge the gap between management theory and real-world applications. We encouraged to students to refine their knowledge through presentations at domestic and international conferences and the submission of papers.

Admission Requirements

The Master’s Program in Management seeks students with the following qualities:
  • Students who have acquired basic undergraduate-level knowledge of at least one of the following subjects: Management, Marketing, Accounting
  • Students with basic undergraduate-level English skills
  • Students who have practical work experience in a private company, have a research plan supported by their background and are motivated to study
