Meanwhile, the findings of fundamental biology that have been revealed are directly applied to new technologies and products to enrich our lives. In other words, the current society requires more researchers who can powerfully pioneer basic research in biological science and industrialists who can apply the findings in real life.
In response to these needs, the Biological Science Division trains professionals who have both advanced research skills and broadly applicable knowledge.
