Educational programme aim is to to prepare highly qualified specialists in the field of category management in retail trade for purposeful activity in the field of entrepreneurship and trade with the aim of forming an optimal assortment of goods by conducting a purchasing policy, selecting suppliers, determining consumer needs, planning supplies, developing product categories to achieve the planned turnover and increase the company's profit .

Objects of study: the activities of business entities of entrepreneurial, trade and/or exchange structures in the production and circulation of goods and services, which is carried out in order to ensure their effective management and development.

Training goals: training of specialists capable of solving complex tasks and problems in the field of entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activity or in the process of learning, which involves conducting research and/or implementing innovations under uncertain conditions and requirements.

Theoretical content of the subject area: theoretical-methodological, scientific-methodical and applied principles of entrepreneurial, trade and stock exchange activities, which ensure the adoption of well-founded professional decisions.
