The aim of the programme is to train highly qualified professionals in economics who have modern economic thinking, theoretical knowledge and applied skills, and who are able to solve complex research, innovation and economic problems and issues of functioning of agricultural enterprises in the face of uncertainty and risks. The programme focuses on the development of professional competence in ensuring the effective functioning and development of agribusiness, the effective use of modern economic instruments, international rules and regulatory mechanisms, agri-trading, and risk management in the activities of an agricultural enterprise. The main competitive advantages of the programme are: it is the first educational programme in Ukraine with an emphasis on the international component, which provides an opportunity to receive education in accordance with international standards; generalisation of practical experience of leading domestic and foreign agricultural holdings; practical orientation of the educational programme, acquisition of high-quality practical, not theoretical knowledge on creating an agricultural business and building a business model of an agricultural enterprise and substantiation of the necessary prerequisites for effective business management in the agricultural sector, which ensures (specialised laboratories, computer labs, SMART library, numerous coworking spaces); application of innovative teaching technologies: solving cases from the practice of agricultural enterprises, participation in the implementation of business projects at leading agricultural enterprises; mastering modern IT solutions in the field of information technology in professional activities; the possibility of obtaining parallel education abroad. The programme is reinforced by 27 elective courses that provide a wide range of competencies required by the student in the field of agribusiness.
