The purpose of the educational
program is to train specialists for a qualitatively new type of management
focused on managed development, advanced management approaches and
technologies, socially defined results and a partnership style of relations
between local authorities, business, and the community. The educational program
focuses on the training of highly qualified municipal management specialists
with a wide range of in-depth academic knowledge and practical skills necessary
to solve complex specialized management tasks in the context of
decentralization of power. The peculiarity of the educational program is the
availability of a wide range of elective professionally oriented disciplines
that provide an opportunity for in-depth specialization in various areas of
municipal management. The professionally oriented practical component
(practical training, training at the SUTE Business Simulation Training and
Research Center) ensures that students acquire practical skills in analyzing
and forecasting socio-economic processes, developing plans, projects, programs,
and strategies for the development of municipalities.
