The purpose of the educational program is to ensure that students of higher education acquire theoretical knowledge, practical abilities and skills sufficient for the development and implementation of management decisions in trade organizations; formation and development of capabilities for resource provision and construction of the management system of trade organizations; carrying out strategic diagnostics of trade organizations with the aim of making strategic decisions; organization of main and auxiliary trade processes; forming an assortment of food products and non-food products and evaluating their quality to ensure the efficiency of circulation and consumption; conducting effective category management at various stages of the process of managing product categories in trade organizations. The main focus of the educational program is the formation of professional competence in the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of trade using modern management theories and methods.
