The purpose of the educational program is to train highly qualified specialists who possess modern economic thinking, theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the organization, planning and implementation of business processes aimed at ensuring the effective operation and sustainable development of enterprises in the agricultural sector, who are able to solve research and practical tasks using appropriate tools and economic decision-making algorithms. The program is based on the conceptual theoretical foundations of leading scientific economic schools and the generalization of practical experience in the field of economics and agribusiness; forms relevant competences on the labor market, which provide opportunities for professional and scientific career development.
A feature of the educational program is the expansion of the mandatory component through the study of relevant professional-oriented disciplines in accordance with the approved author's programs ("Economics of an agricultural enterprise", "Agrarian marketing", "Agrarian management", "Accounting and taxation in agro-industrial enterprises", "Technology production and processing of livestock products", "Technology of production and processing of plant products», «Standardization, metrology and quality management", "Agrarian law", "Exchange agrotrading", "Agrarian logistics", "Foreign economic activity of an enterprise in the agrarian sector"), which ensure the formation of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and skills necessary for work in the field of agribusiness. Practical training in the 3rd and 4th courses at the leading agricultural enterprises of Ukraine (4 weeks each).
Employment of graduates of this educational program is possible at enterprises of various forms of ownership operating in the field of agribusiness, in state and local self-government bodies, public organizations in positions related to this type of economic activity.

- acquisition of relevant professional knowledge and skills thanks to the participation in the educational process of specialists of leading agribusiness enterprises and constant updating of the content of the educational process in accordance with the requests of stakeholders;
- the practical orientation of training applicants to perform all types of economic work in agribusiness (from business modeling and capitalization of own startups in the fields of production, processing and trade of agro-industrial products to the development of strategies for the development of agribusiness enterprises and the design of models for their entry into international markets);
- the possibility of undergoing practical training at leading enterprises in the field of agribusiness and acquiring professional competences in the educational and scientific center of business simulations of SUTE on the basis of a virtual agribusiness.
Modern information and communication equipment, information systems and software products used in professional activities are used in the educational process. The basis of material and technical support consists of laboratories, computer and specialized classrooms of SUTE with modern technical and software resources that ensure high-quality training of bachelors according to the educational program. The university has a developed social and household infrastructure.
Specialists preparing bachelors under the "Agribusiness" educational program possess specialist knowledge and professional skills in the field of economics and finance, including agricultural enterprises, economic analysis and planning, agribusiness cost estimation, digital technologies in agribusiness. The participation of foreign specialists and practitioners in the teaching of the disciplines of the cycle of professional training is possible.
The University has concluded cooperation agreements between DTEU and institutions of higher education, within the framework of which partner exchange and student training is carried out. International academic mobility is also carried out under International programs and projects within the framework of Erasmus+, in particular with the following universities: Krakow University of Economics (Poland, Krakow), Szczecin University (Poland, Szczecin), Business School "Audiencia" (France, Nantes), University of Grenoble Alpes (France, Grenoble), University of Paris Est Cretei (France, Paris), University of Central Lancashire (Great Britain, Preston), Hohenheim University (Stuttgart, Germany), Piraeus University of Applied Sciences (Piraeus, Greece), University named after Klyment of Ohridsky (Bulgaria, Sofia).
