The university graduate with the title of Doctor of Law will be a professional who:
- Integrate legal knowledge that can be understood from new perspectives and that serves as the foundation of the research activity.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge about the law by developing exhaustive knowledge regarding the topic investigated.
- Be able to develop a normative corpus with original legal options on the topic chosen as a doctoral thesis.
- Acquire the methodological conception that allows you to plan and collaborate efficiently in research teams in the discipline or interdisciplinary.
- Accredit recognized scientific work through research projects with resonance and impact on the environment, which manages to influence the production of knowledge in the field of law.
The Doctorate in Law Program brings together a community of teachers and students from different countries and is built on the successful experience of the Master's Degree in Law, at the University of Palermo, in operation since 1995.
