For those interested in doing the Doctorate in Design program and do not yet have a Master's or Magister's degree, they are offered to take both programs in an articulated manner. It consists of completing the Master's Degree in Design Management UP and then the Doctorate, with the benefit that the academic Master's Thesis constitutes a substantial corpus for the final Doctoral Thesis.

Admission Requirements
The Doctorate is aimed at "graduates of university degrees in Design, Architecture or related discipline, lasting four or more years, approved at recognized Argentine or foreign universities" (Academic Regulations Art. 19) According to CSU resolution No. 38/ 12: "Requirements for particular prior studies could be established, which will be indicated together with the Study Plan." For this first stage, the Postgraduate Commission requests that entrants have a Master's degree (Master or Magister), which can be presented as equivalences of the elective subjects of the Curriculum. If you do not have it, you can obtain it by completing the Master's Degree in Design Management that the University of Palermo has been teaching since 2002. In the Doctoral Admission process, each applicant builds his or her doctoral plan and course modality. In this process, according to the Postgraduate degree that the applicant has, the Doctoral Committee could advise taking complementary courses of a disciplinary and/or methodological nature. These courses are incorporated into the Doctoral Plan and do not entail additional costs for the doctoral student.
