This programme gives students a thorough understanding of the entire construction and development process, from the client's brief issued to the lead consultant followed by the design and planning stages to the construction, completion, occupation and maintenance of the facilities. Its main areas of specialisation are construction technology, measurements and estimation, contract administration, construction project management and computer application in construction. Students are introduced to the current technologies, skills and the best practices of the industry at the early stage and will apply them in the form of assignments and final year projects. These include Building Information Modelling, surveying, value engineering, project management and contract administration.
