Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) offers over 78 undergraduate degree programs, 2 postgraduate diploma programs, 33 master’s degree programs, 12 Doctorate programs, and 4 Foundation programs in disciplines such as business, engineering, mathematics, creative industries and design, social sciences, education, medicine and Chinese studies. All degree programs are taught in English with the exception of the Chinese Studies programs. Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman offers over 78 undergraduate degree programs in subjects such as business, Chinese studies, arts, social sciences and education, creative industries and design, science, technology, engineering and mathematics, Chinese medicine and health sciences, as well as medicine.
Ambitious students can participate in the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman Undergraduate Research Scheme (URS) where they will be trained to conduct scientific research and work with researchers on real-life projects. UTAR has introduced the UTAR Soft Skills Development Certificate which is designed to cultivate essential soft skills as required in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, including moral and professional ethics, as well as critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, teamwork and digital literacy skills.

Foundation: O-Level with 5 credits in the relevant subjects or its equivalent qualification

International students who are fully vaccinated in following categories are allowed entry into Malaysia:
a) All existing and new international students except those who come from countries listed in the banned list (please refer: https://covid-19.moh.gov.my/semasa-kkm/); and
Medical Screening Requirements
All international applicants must submit a complete set of the Health Declaration Form to apply for a student visa in Malaysia.
All international students are required to attend a medical screening at the registered Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) Panel Clinics in Malaysia within 7 working days of their arrival date.
