The Master’s Degree Program in Safety and Biosecurity of Agri-Food Products has a decade-long tradition in training food industry engineers specialized in food safety and biosecurity. The program is accredited by ARACIS (Council Decision dated 27.02.2020) and is included in the list of fields and specializations for university master's studies published in the Nomenclature of University Study Fields (M.O. no. 372bis/08.05.2020). The program offers full-time study places, both state-funded and tuition-based. Students develop competencies in demonstrating knowledge in food se-curity and safety; implementing total quality systems in agri-food engineering; design-ing and evaluating innovative technologies and installations; operating equipment, in-stallations, and processes in the agri-food industry; evaluating and operating meas-urement, monitoring, and automation systems; and analyzing management, marketing, and commodity science activities for agri-food products. Graduates are awarded the professional title Master in Food Products Engineering, with the qualification Safety and Biosecurity of Agri-Food Products. Total duration: 2 years (120 ECTS). Career op-portunities include research assistant in quality control of food products, researcher in quality control of food products, expert engineer in the food industry, designer engi-neer for food products, research engineer in quality control, specialized inspector en-gineer in the food industry, and specialized consultant engineer in the food industry.
