The Genetic Engineering specialization was established in 1991 to meet the requirements of modern agriculture and integrate advanced biotechnologies in the creation of new crops and sustainable products. The bachelor’s program (4 years, 8 semesters, 240 ECTS) prepares specialists in the field of plant biotechnologies for research laboratories and genetic analysis, micromultiplication, and biotechnology applications in the food, pharmaceutical or plant extracts industries.
