Graduates of our faculty can work in the following areas: • County Agricultural Directorates for Agriculture and Rural Development, • Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Rural Development (M.A.P.D.R.); • Regional Development Agencies (ADR); • state bodies in the field of rural development and planning (OCAOTA, OSPA, etc.); • education and research; • rural infrastructure; • national and European (EU) experts on agricultural issues (trade, valorization, insurance, etc.), as experts in the field of disputes generated by the legal circulation of land; • IT networks for agrotourism activity • the classic tourist network. The Engineering and Management in the Tourism Industry study program is addressed to all high school graduates who require this form of specialization in order to be able to cope with the tasks derived from the tourism management activity. The mission of the Engineering and Management in the Tourism Industry study program consists in the professional training of high school graduates with a baccalaureate diploma, by continuing the training process at a higher level, a level that requires deepening and mastering specific research tools on a pertinent interdisciplinary basis and is carried out in the following directions: The educational mission is to train highly educated specialists, capable of meeting the needs of the economy, education and science in the field of Engineering and Management, to train engineers capable of integrating the laws of nature with the latest technologies in engineering to create highly efficient products and services. The education of students aims to develop their capacity to work in the engineering field and to ensure that graduates deepen their training in a related field, in order to obtain complementary skills in other fields, through master's programs. The scientific research mission consists in the permanent development of fundamental, interdisciplinary and applied scientific research and, through the results obtained, to contribute to the development of modern agriculture, to enrich the knowledge heritage and to achieve the professional performance of teachers. The scientific research mission also consists in the training and development of students and graduates of the scientific and research skills necessary for technological restructuring and innovation, with the aim of exceeding the current limits of production and efficiency. The mission of continuous training of graduates through a master's degree in the field of Engineering and Management in Agriculture and Rural Development and through a doctorate in the fields of Agronomy and Animal Husbandry.
