The main mission of the Forestry undergraduate program is to train specialists capable of managing forest resources in a sustainable and responsible manner. This involves a deep understanding of forest ecology, wood harvesting and utilization technologies, as well as relevant policies and legislation. More specifically, such a program aims to:

* Train experts: Provide students with solid theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of forestry, including aspects such as forest management, logging, forest protection, biodiversity conservation, and the sustainable use of wood and non-wood products.

* Developing practical skills: To provide opportunities for the development of practical skills necessary for forestry work, such as species recognition, dendrometric measurements, forestry machinery operation, and the application of forest regeneration and care techniques.

* Promoting sustainable management: Educate future foresters in the principles of sustainable forest management, ensuring the conservation and improvement of forest ecosystem health for present and future generations.

* Research and innovation: Encourage scientific research in the field of forestry and contribute to the development of new technologies and approaches for efficient and environmentally friendly forest management.

* Social and ethical responsibility: To train specialists with a high awareness of the social role of forests and a strong sense of ethical responsibility towards the environment and communities.
