The Bachelor of Science (Extended) is a four-year degree that provides a pathway for Indigenous students to embark on careers that build on a strong science background. You will have access to the full range of opportunities available in the Bachelor of Science, together with additional support and resources to provide a strong foundation for success in science study. A key element of the Bachelor of Science (Extended) is that this program is residential – students live in University residential colleges and benefit from the extra support and opportunities that colleges provide. This major will introduce you to the complexities of animal systems by integrating knowledge from the biology of cells to the behaviour of whole organisms. You can choose to specialise in Behavioural Ecology, Reproductive Physiology or Wildlife and Conservation, and combine this with subjects from a wide range of biological disciplines. Practical experience in zoological research will provide valuable skills for the workplace.
