The program is designed for individuals seeking advancement as administrators in schools, school districts, or other educational institutions. It is also designed for classroom teachers who may not be seeking administrative positions but who want to gain more command of the field of educational leadership and to assume other kinds of leadership roles. This program focuses on the knowledge and skills required for campus-level and central office school administration as well as other kinds of leadership positions in education. Beginning in fall 2013 the program will require 30 semester credit hours instead of the 36 that have been required in the past.
