Students in this concentration gain a strong foundation in health law and policy. Because health law is interdisciplinary, students will have the opportunity to take courses with medical students as well as students in other disciplines. These opportunities provide students with insight into the professional and ethical challenges faced by those providing health care to their patients as well as understanding the importance of legal and regulatory compliance. Students will gain supervised, practical experience in a healthcare field placement or legal clinic.
