Develop your critical understanding of the Common Law of England and Wales and a broader comprehension of European and international law and legal context.

In our LLB Law (European and International) degree, you’ll start by studying the foundations of legal knowledge in your first two years to gain a solid grounding in the core areas of law.

In your third year, you’ll take a compulsory year abroad at one of our many 30+ partner universities across the globe to gain first-hand insight into a different legal system. Wherever you choose to study abroad, you’ll be taught in English.

In your fourth and final year, you’ll return to Sheffield, where you’ll then build on your knowledge and focus on the study of EU and international law for a stronger comprehension of global issues.

Throughout your degree, you can also gain real-world experience alongside your studies right here, with our various pro bono schemes. Do real client work, advise start-ups and small businesses, and make a positive difference to the people of Sheffield.

Whatever way you customise your module choice, you’ll graduate with one of the UK’s most highly ranked law degrees and the skills to succeed in a highly competitive job market.
