Biology is the study of life. In this program, students will explore the world of environmental science, sustainable development and public policies towards land and water use. The first year of study will cover introductory studies in organic chemistry, ecology cells and organisms and biology lab work. In second year, students will add botany, microbiology, zoology and statistics to their course work and at the end of the year students may apply to major in Biology. Upper-level studies in Biology may include conservation biology, environmental law and animal behaviour.
