Accounting is the language of business. On this Accounting program, students will learn how to record, interpret, and report economic data. UNB offers honours in accounting, which includes the courses needed to qualify for the professional level education program, which is required to become a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). We also offer a concentration in accounting. This program aims to provide students with skills such as the ability to read balance sheets and analyze financial statements; understanding Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; apply accounting principles and standards; prepare and manage budgets; and determine the costs of products for financial statements.
