Subjects are delivered online, and students are able to contextualise their learning to their local industry and community needs as well as experience expertise from world leading sport performance professionals.

As subjects are delivered online, there is no requirement for international students to leave their home country and work integrated learning experiences can be organised locally.

Domestic students also have access to the UTS Sport, Exercise & Rehabilitation building at the Moore Park Precinct, where students are supported by world-class infrastructure and state of the art research laboratories alongside several leading sporting organisations. This location provides a unique environment and access to teams and athletic organisations who can also offer students practical placements and internship opportunities.

To be eligible for admission to this course, applicants must meet the following criteria.



Applicants must have one of the following:



  • Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, in a Sport and Exercise related discipline with a minimum GPA of 5/7


OR



  • Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, in a Sport and Exercise related discipline with a GPA between 3.5-4.99/7 AND a minimum of 5 years full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant professional work experience in a health or human services field working in athlete preparation for high performance sport


OR



  • Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, in any field of study with a minimum GPA of 3.5/7 AND a minimum of 5 years full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant professional work experience in a health or human services field working in athlete preparation for high performance sport

    • 'Statement of Service' provided by the employer
    • A completed 'UTS statement of service' signed by the employer
    • A statutory declaration confirming professional work experience (for Australian Residents only)
    • An official letter from the applicant's accountant or solicitor on their company letterhead confirming the applicant's professional work experience or engagement with the business, duration of operations, and the nature of the business
    • A business certificate of registration in original language and English (e.g. provision of ASIC documentation or ABN or similar documentation for Australian Businesses)
