Pathways: If you complete the Exercise Therapy major (MAJ06234)*, your entry into to the UTS Master of Physiotherapy (C04306) is guaranteed subject to maintaining a credit average (GPA of 5.0 and above) and a successful internal interview. Completing the Exercise Science or Flexible major also pathway into the Master of Physiotherapy, via a competitive process. Completion of the UTS Master of Physiotherapy leads to eligibility for registration as a physiotherapist in Australia.
Completing the Exercise Therapy or Exercise Science major provides you the opportunity to apply for the UTS Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. This enables registration with ESSA as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
The UTS Master of High Performance Sport may be applied for upon completion of any Sport and Exercise major.

The course provides students with a strong understanding of the processes and mechanisms underlying sport and exercise science, and with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and plan sport and exercise activities in health, exercise science, sport, event and exercise therapy contexts. Both the Exercise Science and Exercise Therapy major in the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science degree are accredited with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). Completion of these majors enables Exercise Science accreditation and focuses on the assessment, prescription and delivery of exercise to apparently healthy people.

Students must apply through UAC to enrol in the course or specifically in the Exercise Therapy major (MAJ06234) (different UAC codes apply).
The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Exercise Therapy major) is NOT offered to non-recent school leaver applicants.
