The course is offered in both Standard mode and as part of the UTS Industry Degree Academy (IDeA). The Standard Program is offered to both domestic and international students. The Bachelor of Cybersecurity – Industry Degree Academy (IDeA) Program is offered only to domestic students. The IDeA Program utilises a cadetship model which integrates work and study throughout the degree.

You will acquire a robust set of skills, including the creation and management of secure networks, systems, and devices. The curriculum encompasses vital areas such as system, information, network, cloud, mobile, and IoT security, along with privacy preservation. A strong computing and IT foundation ensures you are well-equipped for diverse IT roles requiring cybersecurity expertise.

Teaching methods are interactive, emphasising practical, hands-on experience with current technologies. This approach ensures you not only learn but also apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Students in the course engage in practical, hands-on learning using technologies to create and manage secure networks, systems and devices. The course covers a broad range of current and emerging areas of cybersecurity, including system security, information security, network security, cloud security, mobile platform security, IoT security and privacy preservation. Learning is underpinned by a solid foundation in computing and information technology, preparing graduates to work in a variety of IT roles that draw on both their broad IT knowledge and cybersecurity specialist skillset.
