Academic entry requirement
Prerequisites
Successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent).

NON-COGNATE ENTRY (240 credit points -2 years)

  • Successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent).

COGNATE ENTRY (210 credit points - 2 years)
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree and 5 years coding experience with successful completion (75% accuracy rate) of the challenge coding exam providing 30 credit points of advanced standing for HIM4003 and HIM5CCC.

All students who have not completed a degree in medicine, biomedical science, science (with studies in physiology and anatomy), dentistry, nursing, allied health or health sciences (containing anatomy and physiology subjects) must complete a La Trobe or equivalent self-funded Bridging course in Physiology and Anatomy.
