In your first year, you'll learn the fundamentals of management and marketing, exploring real-life examples in a diverse range of organisational contexts. From there, you'll explore the area of bio-business management and discover how to produce and market a virtual product.

You'll be taught by leading industry experts as you examine areas such as molecular modelling software, proteomics and genomics. Gain theoretical knowledge in a range of advanced scientific technologies, including CRISPR-mediated gene editing, next generation sequencing and mass spectrometry. You'll also harness bioinformatics software programs to address biological problems.

As you learn, you'll develop valuable scientific communication and research skills, including data representation, use of scientific journals, scientific databases, writing literature reviews and presenting. Prerequisites
Specialisation - compulsory: Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology or Pharmacy.

Applicants must have an Australian Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent).

WAM - Weighted Average Mark (WAM) 70%
