Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health Sciences).

Every applicant must have been awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Health Care, including a research methods paper, or an equivalent qualification approved by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health Sciences).
