The degree of Bachelor of Radiation Therapy replaces the Bachelor of Health Sciences endorsed in Medical Radiation Therapy. The Radiation Therapy Admissions Committee will determine the admission to this programme and admission is limited to several applicants determined annually based on the number of clinical placements available. The Radiation Therapy Admissions Committee will first select from those applicants who are seeking entry to the Radiation Therapy programme only and not also to one or more of the Dentistry, Medical Laboratory Science, Medicine, Pharmacy or Physiotherapy programmes offered by the University of Otago, and who, normally, have achieved an average of B- (grade point average (GPA) of 4).
