Sociology is the scientific study of human social behavior. It helps us understand the dynamics of society resulting from individual behaviors and choices. The field includes an examination of groups, organizations, cultures, social structures, political and religious groups, and other social institutions. Sociology can also bring together history, psychology and economics to aid in knowing more about the sources and consequences of various changes in social behavior.
