Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (B.S. in E.C.E.) program builds on a strong general education and the technical foundations of mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science. Students have one or more engineering courses each semester, which fosters the development of a close student-faculty relationship beginning the first semester with an Introduction to Engineering. The engineering core is a broad and strong foundation, with seven engineering courses that are taken by all engineering majors. The ECE curriculum offers a balanced combination of: electrical engineering subjects (Circuits, Signals and Systems, Electromagnetics, Electronics, Control), computer engineering subjects (Digital Logic, Microprocessor Systems, Computer Organization, Computer Systems Design), integrating technical subjects (Power Systems, Sustainable Energy, Materials, Digital Signal Processing), professional subjects (Technical Writing, Engineering Economics, Ethics), and several ECE technical elective courses.
